NEXPERIA, high-yield production expert in semiconductor infrastructure production, announced the first P-channel MOSFET series of LFPak56 (Power-SO8) encapsulated by high roll resistance, high space utilization. The new device complies with the AEC-Q101 standard, suitable for automotive applications, as an ideal alternative product of DPAK MOSFET, and reduces the package footprint based on the guaranteed performance, 50%. The new series of products can be selected within 30 V to 60 V operating voltage range, and the on-resistance RDS (ON) is as low as 10 mΩ (30 V).

The LFPAK package uses a copper clip structure, and it is first applied by Nexperia, which has been used in a strict application field of automobiles. It turns out that the reliability of the package is higher than the AEC standard requirements, which exceeds 2 times the key reliability test indicator, and the unique package structure also increases the board-level reliability. Only the N-channel devices were previously used for the N-channel device. Now, due to industrial needs, Nexperia extends the LFPAK56 product line, and the P channel device is also included.
