The Investment Review Committee of the Ministry of Economic Affairs held its 1190th committee meeting on June 9, 2020, approving Yageo's cash acquisition of KEMET and its subsidiaries.The merger between Yageo and Kemei of the United States has all been approved by government regulatory agencies and competent authorities around the world.

Yageo will speed up the delivery and merger of Kemei in the United States, and it is expected to be officially merged into Yageo’s consolidated financial statements in July 2020.
