TDK Corporation (TSE: 6762) has developed a high frequency band for automobiles*The MHF1608 series of noise suppression filters will be mass-produced in September 2020.
Noise suppression components are components used in signal lines of automotive electronic control circuits such as car audio, navigation and battery monitoring systems. The signal transmission path is often affected by conduction noise and radiation noise. In order to control these noises, a chip bead supporting a high frequency range of tens of MHz to several GHz is usually inserted.
The currently developed MHF series uses newly developed high-loss, high-permeability ferrite materials, which can generate high impedance between 300 (kHz) and 30 (MHz), and even generate high impedance in the frequency band below the above range. At the same time control noise. Using this product to replace traditional chip beads, manufacturers can reduce the number of components used. The temperature range of this product is -55℃ to +125℃, and conforms to AEC-Q200.
In the future, TDK will further expand the MHF series lineup to meet customer demand for more compact electronic equipment and improve noise suppression on various automotive equipment.
